It has cross-site tracking and some built-in ad targeting prevention for privacy. The result is a web browser that’s usually the best option for getting things done on MacOS. Remember that Microsoft Edge is now truly cross-platform. Head to Settings > Appearance > Theme and there you will have the same four choices to choose from as you do on iOS. On iPhone head to Settings > Theme and there you can select from four choices: Default (Microsoft Edge), Device, Light, or Dark. You can enable the dark theme on the mobile versions of Edge, too.
